We made it to North Park yesterday! It was by far our best car travel with two kids to date. No major melt downs... no arguing....leaving at 3:00 in the morning really pays off. We are staying at my our friend's Mitch and Cheryl house. Poor things they are off exploring Europe and are probably settling into Barcelona for the week. Cheryl was my mentor teacher when I first started at Pinewood and also my first grade teacher. It took me several months to stop calling her Mrs. Hall.
One great thing about this house sitting gig is it comes with a dog "Turbo" and a cat "Jake". Macy and Turbo made an instant love connectio. Now that we have kids, we enjoy doing all the tourist adventures. First stop... the Harbor Cruise.... I give it 2 thumbs up. Hope you enjoy one of first blogs as somehow we erased the orignial post. Perhaps the next blog will be a little better as I think I figured out how to space the text.
